Pete the Cat

I must have been living under a rock because until this summer, I had never heard of the adorable childrens' book called Pete the Cat. If you haven't seen the video, check it out and be prepared to have it stuck in your head for a while!

We are using an alphabet book from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to guide our Specially Designed Art class projects this year. When we got "C is for Cat", I had to use Pete as our inspiration! I used the die-cut machine for all the shoes, but the kids did all the rest of the work for this cute project and they are a big hit in the hallway display.
