I made some simple text boxes with a cute font, printed them up in RoyGBiv order, laminated them and hot-glued some clothes pins to the back. And now, I'm using them for all kinds of things.
I simply keep them in a small box, next to the drying rack. When a class has art on the rack, I just clip on their class code so they know where their art goes. Both the students (and I) can easily identify whose art goes where. When the art dries, I can clip it all together and put them in my crate to take home and photograph/upload/grade.
Here's to hoping they will continue to serve me well for the rest of the year!
